I started at a new gym this week and they did my numbers. And they also gave me a loose program to follow. So I'm not sure if they are BSing me so I pay for a PT or if they are spot on. So here are my numbers I'm 6ft. And right now I weigh 325. My LBM is 176 which is correct my doc confirmed. So they are saying that I should weigh anywhere between 220-240 to be in a healthy BMI. Now this is the plan the gym told me stretch for 5-10 min, 25-30 min weight lifting low weight high reps, and 30 min of cardio. In that order. Thoughts anyone
????

Well, you don't need a PT to execute that exercise plan. Not sure how they will help you lose weight without addressing your food intake. Did they mention it?

Weight loss happens in the kitchen, exercise is for fitness. If you want to lose weight/body fat you have to eat less than you burn. When I joined mfp this thread helped me a lot:

I'm only eating about 1500 a day which is 250 less than Mfp says. My food I've got under control. I just didn't know if the exercise made sense. Because before what they told me I was doing about an hour of cardio n circuit training twice a wk. I don't log my exercise.
