putting the scale up....for today

So, yesterday I decided I was going to UP my calories, because I have come to a huge plateau. I had 1693 calories and only burned 287 which left me 206 over my desired calories.....I know this in no way "hurt" me, but I also know that the scale is going to be the same or a little higher, and i feel guilty about having so many calories yesterday...even though i shouldnt...anyways....trying my hardest to NOT use the scale today, but give my self another 1200-1300 calorie day and see what it says tomorrow.....I see a lot of posts, and have done a lot of research and it seems when you are at a plateau the thing to do is up your calories a little....( i was at 1000-1100) lets see how this works
