Withings/WiFi bathroom scale integration - which weight is used?

Am considering getting this scale. From what I understand once you link the apps, you just have to step on the scale and it will automatically update your weight for that day in MyFitnessPal, which is awesome.

However I like to weigh myself multiple times a day. Just because I like seeing the fluctuations and it's a habit, no I don't let them get me discouraged etc.

But my question is will MFP use the latest weigh-in for the day? The lowest? Will it add multiple entries for the day? What if a friend steps on my scale?

Weighing multiple times throughout the day is a pointless exercise.

I don't know about your multiple times, but the scale should recognize when it's not you, assuming you and your friend have different weights. My scale informs me when I have an "abnormal reading" usualky it means my much lighter mom or much heavier husband weighed themselves. These don't get logged.

That said you can delete the entries from your progress graph. I deleted a weight I took out of curiosity when sick and one after eating a large meal.

I've got the Withings Body Analyser, and MFP only uses the first weight of the day. If your friend stands on it and is a similar weight to you, you can delete their weight from the Withings HealthMate app or assign them their own data point. If your friend's weight is very different to yours, Withings will know it's not you.

Gotcha. Thanks guys. I figured there'd be a way to delete entries/readings, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I'd have to do every day.

If I weigh myself more than once a day, it uses the last measurement, not the first.

Ok. I'm fine buying it if it's either first or last, main worry was just if it decided to add them all, which I don't even know if it's possible in MFP.
