i am new to the forummmmmmm. LOL! I have been a sporadic participant in MFP for several years. I really wasn't very motivated to work hard enough. Work, home, fun, food....it all interrupted my discipline. I retired the end of Sep from a very stressful job, 10 years working in the sexual assault prevention and response arena. Enough said. So when I got my retirement incentive, I joined a fitness center and bought a one year contract with a trainer there for 3 sessions a week. OUCH!! My trainer is awesome. He's a former Marine and really pushes me to succeed. (In a good way.). So, I am recording my food, honestly, and my workouts. I think I have turned the corner in the motivation game. I hope so. I have to do this on my own when the contract runs out!!
