My 1 year anniversary w/pics. Down (75-78lbs)

Hi all,

What a crazy and rewarding year it's been. If you told me last year that I would have stuck to this for a year I probably would have thought you were crazy! In a year I've lost 75-78 lbs. (I keep bouncing back and forth) and went from a size 28 to a 22. I am so proud of myself! It's been trying at times but I am amazed at my progress. I'm still pretty far from where I want to be. I'd like to lose another 40-45 lbs but I've been stalled out for about 12 weeks. Some people ask me what motivates me and my answer is simple. Why not? I'm off during the summer for work as I work for a school district. I thought, I could sit around all day and get fat or I can get up and do something productive. It was also nice because I could take my son and he could interact with the other little kids at the gyms daycare. That is what literally keeps me going. My fuel now is never wanting to go back to where I was. So I keep pushing.

Starting weight 318.
Current weight 239-242.

The 4th picture was me on the first day I started in the gym, and the right was me last week.

WOW you look fantastic!!!!!! congratulations girl! Such an inspiration. Ive done this a few times and lost a stone, then 9lbs but just never keep it up. Seeing your transformation will definitely keep me motivated!

That's wonderful! I've been on here before under other user names and lost 30 lbs but it never stuck around. Then I just got serious and realized I didn't gain it over night and I won't lose it overnight either! Cheers to your success!
