I'm a 5"8 male and at 177lbs. I have quite a lot of muscle but looking to lose some body fat and tone up. Any advice on the best sort of exercises and diet to help me?

Calorie deficit = weight loss. And the best exercise is the one you like for fitness. But it probably should be a mix of resistance training and cardio.

Personally, I lift 4 hours a week with 1.5 hours of cardio and .5-1 hr of yoga/flexibility.

Eat less calories than you burn in a day. Figure out your TDEE and go from there.

The best exercise and nutrition plan is the one you can stick to. A healthy diet at a moderate calorie deficit, with intense exercise including resistance training and HIIT cardio is the money ticket for ideal body composition.

For food, my suggestion would be to focus on protein fiber fruit and veggies. And dairy of you eat it. And exercise find something you like and meet the heart association recommendations.

Focus on diet more than exercise. Much more bang for the buck.
