All I think about is food

Literally. Self-Explanatory Title. In-between meals and snacks all I think about is the next time I'm going to eat. Even when I wasn't counting calories my mind was consumed with food. It was related to enjoyment. What can I do while I'm sitting at work...bored....or sitting at home...bored...to get my mind off of food.

"Finding something to do" isn't the best advice since I'm currently deployed and there isn't anything TO do.

I also think about it all the time and plan what I'm going to eat hours before I eat it. It actually helps me to understand what I'm putting in my body.
But, bored eating is a big problem for me too. When you start obsessing on food can you get up and walk? or work out? What about inhaling some lavender or other sents...sounds weird but I've heard that work to curb cravings. otherwise, eat whatever you want, but understand that you'll have to work double hard to work it off later in the day.
Sorry, it is tough when I know how you fee. Most times I just tell myself to get over it and quit thinking about food.

You could always do light exercise? Or maybe read? Idk what resources you have, or where you are, but I'm sure there's something :]

I feel your pain, though. I think about food constantly. It always makes me anxious/paranoid. It really sucks, and it's hard to find a distraction!

Find a new obsession. I have aspergers and used to, my special interest was food/nutrition/planning and it was difficult but I found other things to obsess about. Now I'm all about racial tension and the idea of political correctness.

Deployed without much to do? I guess that can be good or bad depending on the situation...

Drink more water. Find a low calorie snack like popcorn to take care of the behavioral need to eat. Do a couple of burpees with tucks. Nothing kills an appetite like rocking some of those out.

When my mother was diagnosed with diabetes, she made a lot of lifestyle changes. She got herself some cooking books, started walking a bit, but I think her biggest hurdle was that idle time she has since all her kids are at pretty independent ages (I'm the oldest) and she doesn't really have much else to do after work.

So she developed a pretty intense beading/jewelry making hobby. She's gotten really good. Find something that you can focus on. Even Norman Bates had hobbies.

I feel ya. I think about food like all day, every day. I try cups of coffee or tea in between meals so I have something to "prepare" & I think the caffeine helps me not be as hungry. Or mints, gum, or sugar free candy helps sometimes.

Same here. It's constant! I also find that drinking coffee or tea helps to give me something to do without consuming calories, but it doesn't stop the thoughts. I have found that I really just have to get busy to make it go away. I'll invent a problem on the other side of the plant that I have to go work on to get moving and keep busy. It really helps, but being super busy might not be easy in your case. Be creative!
