Why haven't measurements changed?

I've lost weight. And my clothes are looser but my waist and hips haven't changed. Am I just not measuring them properly? Or maybe just losing weight from other areas. Do these measurements change throughout the day. I usually only think to measure before my shower at night.

Maybe the weight hasn't come off of your waist and hips but somewhere else? There is a potential that you're measuring them wrong. And yes, measurements can change throughout the day.0

Measure your chest, thighs, calves, neck, upper arms, forearms, and wrists. Also, across your navel (since a woman's waist is not at the navel.)0

Your Waist & Hips may be the last place you lose weight.
With me, it's my Thighs & Bum.
But you are losing weight and your clothes are looser, so well done!0 -
If your clothes are looser, you've lost there.
Tape placement/the degree to which you pull it tight isn't an exact science.0
