I guess if you're diabetic you could try a cup of black coffee and a bowl of plain oatmeal? Or a bowl of fiber cereal the unsweetened kind like grape nuts or one of the fiber one types.

My doctor has said as much. For me also having oatmeal (which is awesome with fresh peaches and some cinnamon". And I have to work at drinking enough fluids. Also keep any baked or pasta or grains type carbs whole grain, which are also lower on the glycemic index so can be a win/win.0 -
I have a level tablespoon of chia seeds in my smoothie or yoghurt every single day. I have never looked back.0
