Calorie Weekly View

Curious to see how everyone views their calories.

I've always done the weekly view, for the last 7 days, instead of the Monday-Sunday view.

Today I wondered if maybe this is a bad thing. On my rolling 7 day view, my blowout 4th of July will drop off tomorrow, making it look as though I've had a good week. Thoughts?

Oh,yeah. I always do Monday-Sunday. I feel like it keeps me more in check. I have a high day every Saturday.

I do Monday to Sunday so that my view is always consistent-and it helps me directly compare my weight loss to calories eaten (I weigh daily but track Sunday's only).

I guess this issue is kind of the same regardless of view, then?

If you have a bad Sunday, it's gone on Monday as it's a new week, and mine falls off a week later?

ETA: Really not trying to argue with anyone, I actually want to see if one way is better than the other.

For me it doesn't really work because I ALWAYS have a high day or two, I plan for them. So if I had the weekly view, it would mess me up.

Are you talking about on the mobile app, the default view when you go to Nutrition? I didn't know there was another way.

Also sometimes the graph comes up wrong and I have to keep toggling back and forth to the graph, sometimes several times, to get it to the one that looks right. Like for example, days randomly show up as purple (I think this means negative net calories for the day) when I know I was near my goal for that day. Very frustrating

If you go into your settings you can have it show you the weekly view from whatever days you choose, instead of a rolling 7 day view.

Have you updated? Their was a glitch that was fixed (at least for me-but I'm beta testing so perhaps it's not fixed on the regular app yet).

Also you can change the start day for your weekly view under settings.

If... if you've not exceeded your calories for 7 days, then you HAVE had a good week. Why would a week of met goals be bad?

Ever since I updated, looking at my weekly calorie intake has been a pain. The app freaks out and I think my phone is going to blow up.

How do you get a weekly calorie view using the computer?

I didn't know this app did that, but I use a 7 day veiw for caloric intake. I also do alot of fasting with 1 day when I eat 4 or 5 or 6 times in the course of a day. But the other 6 are 16:8 or 20:4 IF. I feel better about crappy days, as I log daily, because I know that over the course of a week, I'm usually in check.
