Hi,
I started my journey last sept. with a bootcamp program. I have to say its been amazing!! So far i've lost 5 inches on my waist, 5% body fat and dropped 9lbs. Others say nice things like they notice i've trimmed down. I tried clothes on yesterday and wasn't happy. I guess i was expecting to be further then i am. Its my own fault i know b/c i don't push as hard and still have cheat foods. One one level i know i feel better and can run and have more energy now. On the other level i'm frustrated i'm not slimmer. It kinda bums me out. Any thoughts to stay motivated?
Thanks!

If someone else came to you saying the same things, feeling the same way, how would you respond? We're often harder on ourselves than we would ever think of being with someone else. 9 lbs, 5% body fat, and 5" at the waist are HUGE accomplishments. You've done very well.0

I agree with the first response---we are often our own worst critics! That much of a body fat percentage with only 9 pounds lost is amazing.0

Thanks! i do appriciate your comments. We rae our worst critics! i would say look at what you have done! do you feel better? yes. I knew going in it would take time and effort - guess i just get impatiant - then trying clothes on doesn't really help. One day at a time. Its good that the body fat has gone down with out much weight loss? That means i'm getting leaner? thanks!0

I agree with the first few comments.
Just think how much muscle you have adding to your body.0
