My calories used to be at 1700, but I have recently started exercsing more then I was before 0 to 3 times a week if not more, so my calories have been decreased to 1670. Now today I had 600 calories left over, my question is, is this a bad thing if it keeps happening?

Are you using the MFP set up? If so I'm not sure why your calories are decreasing. With exercise they should be increasing. 600 calories is quite a bit to be short, but probably won't kill you if it happens occasionally.

I am using MFP set up. When I put in I was working out more a week and wanting to lose more a week it decreased my calorie intake. But I don't want to leave so many calories as I hear about your body going into starvation and storing it and well that just won't do me any good.

It's not necessarily bad if it happens occasionally. The only problem is if this happens often your body gets used to that new calories and will adjust. So when your body adjust to the new calories your fat lost will stop and you will have to lower your calorie intake even more. Your body always wants to go into a state of hemostats. So make sure to keep your calories as high as possible while maintaining weigh lost.

The starvation mode myth again. I strongly suggest you search for that topic and read the science and references to studies. Eating too little is not a good idea, but "too little" is a lot less than some posters will have you believe.
