Should I add the calories I burn????

I was wondering if I should eat the calories I burn. For instance I log in that I burn 500 calories for running so it adds this to what I can eat in a day. (1800 + 500 = 2300) should I eat up to the 2300 calories or should I just stick to the 1800 calories.

what are you using to get your burns?
Most calorie burns estimators are off on the high side, so most recommend only eating back half.
so in your example it would be 1800 + 250 = 2050

I use my daily calorie goal of 1500 but leave the exercise calories. Have lost 9 lbs in 4 weeks (and my weekly loss goal is 1 lb)! So in my experience, best not to use them if ur goal is weight loss0

It depends on where you are at in the process. If you still have high body fat then I wouldn't eat them back. But if you are trying to get rid of the last bit then you should only be losing 1lb per week and should eat it back if you are already losing that much.0
