Day 7 of 30 Day plank challenge

Day 7 is test day. I increased my plank time from 1 minute 18 seconds to 1 minute 46 seconds!

I tried to do the Day 7 test this morning and was so sore from other exercise that I only held the plank for half the time of my original test.0

I could see how that would be discouraging. But let's look at context here. I started playing hockey 2 to 3 times a week in January. I've done some circuit training sporadically and I started riding my bike recently. If I had done this in January I wouldn't have had such a quick gain, especially on the soreness front. In the last few weeks I've actually gotten to the point where I don't really get sore anymore which is quite amazing. On the other hand I've been sitting at 220 pounds since February and I can't seem to lose any weight. So keep going! That's soreness means you're getting stronger!0

I'm not actually discouraged, I knew as soon as I woke up that I would struggle due to my own choice to take insufficient rest.0
