does glutamine have protein ?

the myfitness pal food entry I am using says that
L glutamine powder has 10 grams of protein per 10 grams of
Wondering if this is correct
There are no macronutrient contents on the container itself

    It is an amino acid, which is what the body uses to build protein.

    I knew it was an amino acid
    but it have macronutrients ?

    I think if it’s just an amino acid, then it’s technically not a protein. But I’m no chemist.

    Amino acids would be considered proteins for from a nutritional standpoint.

    Protein is made up of amino acids, so technically yes. But it wouldn't be a "complete" protein. Like you couldn't take 100g of glutamine and call it a day and assume you are getting all your protein requirements.

    Nothing on the container? That's bizarre...didn't think that was even legal. (In the US.)

    I'd check the manufacturer's website and if not available there either, write and ask them.
