The last few weeks I have been sorta good with my food although always over the calorie/carb/sugar/fat goals, however I'm still in a deficit. Last Sunday I went crazy :( I ate way to much, maybe I'm being hard on myself, but i reckon it was an easy 3000 calories over! i ate ice-cream, homemade pizza and soo much peanut butter! and lots of other junk! i felt so sick that night! i swore to myself i would never let that happen again! now the thing I'm so upset about is i have gained what feels like a ton of weight! I'm 5'4ft and 73kg. I'm usually happy with my stomach being that i don't carry most of my weight here (its all stored in my calfs and thighs!) but I'm not happy at all with it! i have gotten muffin top and I'm losing all self conferdence as the scales have gone up and my legs feel so much bigger!! what has happened?!?!?!?! i have been active every day and i know i can't gain that much in one day...... can i ? I've googled this and people say its just water weight and it will go down.....but it hasn't. Im really struggling to lose this weight and always going over my goals of how much i should be eating how can i stop this? and does anyone also experience this?

You really have to stop going over your calories. You can't expect to over eat and not gain weight. It's time to make a firm choice.
Do you stay 73kg and unhappy or do you put your foot down and say I WILL stay under my calorie goal?

You say that you are "always over the calorie/carb/sugar/fat goals" but "still in a deficit". Which is it? Are you always over your calories or are you in a deficit? I do think that one day of eating too much shouldn't derail a week's progress, as long as you don't totally overdo it. I've also heard it say that you CAN undo any progress you make in a week with one day of overeating. Yes, it can be water weight, but if it hasn't gone down it sounds like you are just not in a deficit, but a surplus of calories. Time to make the commitment of staying within your calorie goals every single day. Try this- incorporate the foods you love, in MODERATION, every day so you won't be tempted to binge. I might have a half of a cup of ice cream and fit it into my goals for the day; or I might weigh some potato chips and have a calorie controlled portion with my sandwich. If you are going to have a day that you know you're going to indulge- you need to still weigh and log everything so you don't let it get way out of control. This is doable- it just takes time, patience and commitment.
