Can anyone help with a low calorie pancake mix, that actually ends up tasting like pancakes?

I was using a fiber one pancake mix that was pretty yummy and it was multi grain! Instead of making a ton I just took 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup depending how hungry I was and mixed it with some water. I now use GFS mutli grain and do the same thing. Knowing a serving size is a half cup I just use that or lower it down as need be add how ever much water I want and there breakfast! For me it's the toppings that are killer! so I changed butter and syrup to 1 or 2 tablespoons peanut butter yum!

My bad the Fiber on was not multi grain but it still had fiber and protein if I recall I switched cause GFS was better and cheaper for me. Here's he fiber one I was using http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002AQP2U0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

How low can you go? (reminds me of a song)...I like Maple Groves of Vermont "Sugar Free Pancake & Waffle Mix". Tho it says "not a low calorie food" on the box, it packs 11gm protein/8gcarb/3gFiber/0gsugar. And its 80 Calories for 24gm (1/4c dry).

For mega protein boost: I like to add a scoop of cinnamon protein powder, 2.3oz of 0 Fage yogurt, cream of tarter, and cinnamon before adding any water to mix it all up.

    Makes a tasty pancake.

It's been so long since I tasted "real" pancakes that I couldn't say if the recipe I use tastes real or not...but i sure do love them. 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 3 TBSP egg beaters, 1 TBSP skim milk, 1 scoop vanilla whey protein, 2 TBSP quinoa flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon. Recipe given to me as waffle recipe but pancakes are so much easier in my world! I usually spread a little Almond butter on top, then 1 cup of strawberries and a serving of Walden Farms Pancake Syrup. Macros for JUST THE PANCAKES are Fat: 1.2 g, Carb 14.7g and Protein 26.9 g which is 186 calories.

If I want butter and syrup, what do you recommend? I'm excited to try these suggestions. Thanks.

Not low calorie, but I have a great high-protein, high-fiber pumpkin pancake mix. I eat it with Greek yogurt and frozen fruit that is thawed half-way. Portion it out and it is a great breakfast.
