I was on here briefly a few years ago, but was stymied by menopause weight loss barriers. I have gotten really out of shape. Fat, too, but my appearance is less important than losing quality of life due to tiring easily and not being able to do things I want to do. I'm hoping to find some support and success tips oriented toward women in my age group surmounting the effects of menopause on their fitness goals. My efforts are further complicated by the fact that my best workout partner, my Great Dane, has gotten too old for the long, vigorous daily walks that used to be the cornerstone of my exercise. So I've joined Planet Fitness with my best friend and we are doing 30 minutes of cardiovascular and 30 minutes of weights 3 days per week. I'm going to be tracking my food intake as well.
