Don't think percentages, thing grams. Fill in the necessary amount of protein and fat, then put the rest in carbs.

Protein should be about 1g per pound of body weight. Fat should be about .25g per pound of body weight. You may need more fat depending on how you feel or if you struggle to meet your calorie targets.

Fat should be more than .25! Especially depending on your age. Try and hit .4-.5g per lb of body weight on the fats. Protein is good at 1 gram per lb. fill rest with carbs

Sounds good. Mine are set at 50% carbs, 30% fats and 20% protein.

What is your age, height, current weight, current body fat and how much are you looking to gain?

I don't worry about percentages and only really track 1 macro. I eat the required protein (1g per lean body weight) and eat 250-500 cals a day above my TDEE a day. I use IIFYM (flexible dieting). I find this way takes a lot of the stress/headache out of food/nutrition and keeps it fun and sustainable.

most would recommend .65 to .85 grams per pound of body weight; .45 grams of fat per pound of body weight; and fill in rest with carbs….
