When people up their calories and seem to lose weight faster and/or get past a plateau?

that they just get more accurate weighing their food and created a deficit again
people dont lose weight again because they eat more calories. They lose weight because the eat less calories
But a lot of the people who do this ( up their calorie intake) Start weighing their food vigorously..because they are afraid to gain weight. By doing this ( the more accurate weighing) they just created a deficit.
So in general when they should do this ( the accurate weighing) and not up their calorie intake...they will start losing weight too.
