I'm very skeptical about losing weight.

I've been exercising and portioning my food as best as I can. I caved in today and installed mfp which I read about on reddit. I'll be seriously starting tomorrow morning but in skeptical. I don't think I can reach my goal.

You can, I have 3 friends who have each lost almost 100 pounds using MFP. I myself have lost 33 so far. You just HAVE to be legit about it and exercise. Add EVERYTHING... the creamer to your coffee, gummy multivitamins, that stick of gum.. and weigh food too, you eat way more than you think you do. If you do it, you will lose, I promise! I log daily too if you want to friend me, you can look at my food diary and maybe get some ideas. You got this though.

Last thing, one thing that really helped me when I first started was the whole "it takes about a month to make a habit".. the first month is hard, counting cals and just getting into everything, after that, it becomes easy and second nature. Feel free to message me as well, I can give you some easy starter exercises to do at home or whatever you need for motivation. You got this.

I'm 33 and started at 198 the day I started using MFP again. I'm 155 now and have 10 pounds to go until I hit goal.
