Still confused about activity level

i've read the MFP definition and i'm not sure where to put myself.
Every morning i ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes - i log this as exercise. I have a desk job; however, i work from home, so every day at lunch i take my dog for a three mile walk. then after work i walk her 1 mile to the park and 1 mile home. i don't log these walks as exercise. So, am i sedentary (as the definition suggests) or lightly active?

" I have a desk job" = sedentary. Then log the walking. All of it.0

I'd put as sedentary as well. Activity level is more so how you spend the majority of the day rather than what your workouts consist of. So if you're at a desk, probably sedentary; a walking mailman, probably moderate; football training, active. You can also try this site http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc0

You are sedentary and should log all exercise as exercise. Sedentary will give you less calories for the day but be sure to eat back some of the calories you burn doing your bicycling and walking.0

I do on average 9000 steps per day, what level of activity is that? (i exercise on top of that, that's just my general walking around)0

Using the following site and making a small conversion across to line up with MFP descriptions gives you the following:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14715035
Sedentary: Spend most of the day sitting (e.g. bank teller, desk job) <5000 steps
Lightly Active: Spend a good part of the day on your feet (e.g. teacher, salesman) 5000 - 9999 steps
Active: Spend a good part of the day doing some physical activity (e.g. waitress, mailman) 10k - 15k steps
Very Active: Spend most of the day doing heavy physical activity (e.g. bike messenger, carpenter) >15k steps

Per this article
1) <5000 steps.d (sedentary);
2) 5000-7499 steps.d (low active);
3) 7500-9999 steps.d (somewhat active);
4) > or =10,000-12,499 steps.d (active); and
5) > or =12,500 steps.d (highly active)
