Fitbit / NSV!

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm kind of proud of myself for it and it's definitely motivated me to move my *kitten*.

I love the idea of the goals on fitbit.com, but I always felt like I'd never get to 10,000 steps unless I'm on vacation (when I tend to walk the most) so I just kind of ignored my daily steps...WHICH TOTALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE!!! lol

Soooo, last week I cut the steps from 10,000 to 5,000 which seemed way more manageable to me. Since then (with the exception of the weekend) I've hit and exceeded 5,000 steps every day! It takes a bit of effort for me (because I am so very lazy...for real) - but it's totally doable and it doesn't seem impossible in my head. It's only 5:30 and I've already gotten 6,449 steps :-)

So yay for me for not being so damn lazy. Hopefully this helps someone else who finds 10,000 steps impossible too!

    Great job, your doing awesome!!

    I have a Body Media and I love it :D I set the same goal for myself at 5,000 steps and make myself do that at least each day in addition to 30 min of moderate activity 6X week. Its super motivating!
