Lost a lot; slowly gaining it but don't know why

I used to be 200lbs. I went on a long weight loss campaign and got down to 140lbs in about a year. I did this through sensible portion sizes, exercise and calorie monitoring.
For the past few months I've been slowly adding weight. I'm now at 154. I'm not exercising as much but I'm walking at least an hour a day. I'm eating less than 2000 calories a day but still gaining weight. I was using the Bodymedia Fit armband but got rid of it when my fourth one broke. Since then I've not found one that I can wear without inaccuracy or skin issues.
Has anyone else experienced this? Other than becoming a slave to the treadmill; is there any advice anyone can offer?

Are you using a food scale to weigh your portions out?
This
When I use to binge on bags of chips, I noticed just how many servings I was eating in one sitting. So even if you don't weigh out a perfect portion, just buying smaller containers or something could make a different. Portion and reportion your portions lol eating is a mental game and you cant let your stomach win0 -
You're eating above your maintenance. You could either exercise more or eat a bit less. I think eating a bit less is the sustainable option; if you try to exercise too much you likely won't maintain that habit and you'll be back where you are. Definitely use a scale to weigh your food if you are not already.
Did you strength train during weight loss? If you have more lean body mass, your maintenance calories will be a bit higher as well.0 -
How tall are you? I'm 5'4" and 140 lbs and if I shot for just under 2000, I would slowly gain weight too. I have found that my magic maintenance # is about 1650..but I work a desk job...0
