Hey!! Just dont beat yourself up about it! We are all human and make those choices! The real test is getting back in the game and going strong and not dwelling on the past! You can do it!

    Trends, not days.
    Knowledge is power.
Ask yourself, "Does this choice support my goal? If not, why am I wanting to choose this?" Understanding why is actually pretty important.

What's done is done. You fed your soul for a while. Thank yourself for the comfort food, allow yourself to to be happy about the experience of eating it and now focus on foods that make your physical body feel better. When thinking about what you're going to eat ask yourself, "Will this food give me energy, improve my mood, and move me closer to my goals?" If you can't answer yes to all of those then smile, tell yourself you'll indulge another time, and find a better choice. Look for foods that bring you joy not only when you eat them but afterwards because you know you're nourishing your body and you'll feel better. ((hugs)) There is no failure, only learning opportunities. You got this!

Ok, so motivation, maybe not exactly how you want it, but here goes...

I want you to keep this number in mind, $31,507-$1,209,089. That is what it will cost for one of my specialist associates to fix you, provided you survive an acute myocardial infarction (MI, Heart Attack) - assuming usual workup, cath lab, one major blockage requiring a stent, cardiac rehab. After thaty it is a lifetime of expensive meds - $398.00/mo on average and annual high level workupsby a cardiac care team - $6,800.

Think about that every time you want to chow down on something loaded with LDL Cholestorol. In the long term, can I afford the cost of my excess consumption/dangerous diet decisions? That is the question.

I'm a former Army Ranger and Master Fitness Trainer who currently works in the medical field and my bedside manner is well, interesting at times. Sorry if this is not the sort of motivation you are looking for.

I have messed up too. Today I started eating well again after messing up big time I started the hcg 500 cal diet a little over a week ago and I was loosing weight every day then about three or four days ago I started messing up and now I've gained the weight back so I've started it again today I don't want to give up just because I messed up for a few days I thought about it I really contemplated just stopping but that's not fair to my health I've never had a weight issue until my health started to decline and I started breaking bones my back was the start now it's my leg I snapped my tib and fib and haven't been able to walk till about a week ago now my back is really bothering me again it never ends but because I'm not moving much and I'm on meds that give me horrible sugar cravings and before I knew it I went from 124 to 204 it's crazy so I was willing to try anything I'm unable to exercise so this hcg diet sounded like something I could do due to the five hundred cal a day u can't exercise and u can get drops or injections I chose injections and it doesn't hurt and it's once a day with drops u have to do it everytime u eat and you will start dropping at least one and up to three pounds a day and I didn't at first but that's cuz I wasn't drinking enough water and I skipped meals high makes ur body hold on to the fat as if there were a famine so once I started doing it right it started working my hubby is on the drops and went from 306 to 273 in a week and a half and is still dropping the weight but anyways don't give up we all mess up every now and then the true disappointment is when you flat out quit trying to do better for urself if you find you have messed up one day the next day try eating fruit for breakfast and lunch and a small fish and veggies for dinner. Or you could pick your fav fruit and just have that for the day to sort of get yourself back on track now I must start over again which is a bummer but at least I'm going for it. All it takes is for you to keep on trying no matter what don't give up on yourself I hope everything works out for ya

Do you have any reasons of your own for getting back on track?

Sorry for your bad food decisions, you alone are in your own drivers seat of your life. Own up to it, and move on. Its really a matter of mentally turning a page. You can get encouragement up the ying-yang, and still be in a rut. Change your mind, and change your way of eating. That is putting it in its simplist terms. Eat when you are hungry...(not the lonely I need something hungry, or the Im upset hungry), move every day and smile. Being on here is a great first step!

I do! !! I'm tired of being tired all the time. Tired of being heavy. I lost the weight once kept it off for 2 years. Gained most of it back. I gave up on myself. I want to find the fun, better me.

One day at a time. One step at a time. If you have a bad day, you pick yourself up the next day. Don't let one bad day run into the next. Wake up with a different mindset. All my meals are prepped the night before. I am less then 18 weeks out from my first figure comp, there is no room for error. Set yourself up to kick butt and you will soar.

I do that with any type of food that I would probably over-eat on...ie: soups, rice dishes.... The fact that I have separated it all, makes me less likely to cheat and take more than my portion. Its great when you are throwing food together. Just keep track of what you throw in to a pot, then log it into your recipe section. Then play with the "how many servings" area until you get a healthy number. Then I take out the containers and devy everything into them. Easy peasy.

Don't let a cheat meal turn into a cheat day, just log it first and realize how many calories you are about to eat and that may help. Also sometimes I am bored and think I want to eat something, make some hot tea, or drink some water, take a walk. Do something else and then in 30 minutes ask yourself if you're hungry or not, and think of a healthy snack. You just have to make your mind up, how bad do you want it. Make better choices with your food, move more, and repeat... I sometimes eat out and don't watch that meal too well, maybe once a week, but then it's over, I am only slowing down my progress a little bit, then I am back on , and try to exercise more. If you just continue, next thing you know it will be 6 months later and 30 lbs gone. Tell yourself you are worth it, you will feel so much better.
