BMR/TDEE

So here is my information...MFP has me at around 1300, should I change it to reflect 1788? I feel a bit sluggish at only 1300 calories.

BMR: 1788

TDEE: 2459

Macro nutrient ratios:

Protein: 45%
Carb: 35%
Fat:20%

Do you have MFP set to lose 2lbs a week? That might be why it has you at 1300. But yeah, your weight loss will be more fat and less lean muscle if you stick closer to your BMR calories, plus you'll be less likely to plateau .

Others might be able to give you more/better advice if you post your height and weight.

Personally, I eat more than my BMR. I'm doing TDEE minus 20% It makes me happier to eat more.. I was too angry at 1200 or 1300. Its slow going for me but it's been steady :)
