You're in the right place! Follow the MFP plan and read the forums. Sometimes when we're near our goal weight, we eat a little more because we become complacent. Log all your food and drink, stay within your caloric goals eating whatever you want, and enjoy losing that last 22 pounds.

Count your calories. Many people find that weighing their food on a food scale helps them get better estimates on how many calories they're taking in. You might consider trying that.

Plateaus are a thing, but give it some time before you consider yourself truly stuck.

    Stick with it. :)

Set your diary to public. It will be easier for people to pinpoint where you "may" be going wrong. Otherwise you'll just get the usual generic responses.

    Having said that lol

Do you use a food scale to weigh all of your food?

Do you eat back your exercise calories? if so, where are you getting your calorie burns from? MFP and the numbers from machines are usually greatly inflated..

No don't weigh food and usually always under calories and yes calories burned from machines or from this app. The same thing I have been doing just maybe not eating the right things all the time .

The smaller your deficit gets, the less wiggle room you have.

Someone that has 100lbs to lose can sometimes get away with eyeballing their portions, and not being spot on with their calories. But when you only have 20 or so pounds to lose there is much less room for error.

Without seeing your diary, I can only guess you are eating more than you think.

Oh, and the general consensus is to halve the calorie burn the machines and mfp gives you. Especially if you are eating those calories back.

Now that you're getting closer to your goal, I would highly recommend tightening up your logging by weighing foods. I used to think I did a great job estimating but I was WAY off sometimes. I would also recommend decreasing the calorie burn MFP gives you (or a machine) by half or at least a third. They way overestimate!

Get a food scale and start weighing your consumption.

Congrats on the loss to date! That's a major accomplishment.

Definitely get that food scale. I don't know if you use the recipe builder or rely on generic entries ("Homemade-Spaghetti"), but if it's the latter, stop that. Also, check to make sure you've updated your goals in MFP--you could be doing everything right but maintaining because your calories are lower than they were 80 pounds ago.

As for the exercise calories, half is a good starting place. I found that my burn is closer to 75% of MFP's number.

    Good luck!
