Do you like it when MFP friends use terms of endearments when posting on your page?

I often see people, more guys than gals posting things like "Good morning sweetie, I hope you have a wonderful day!" Are you comfortable with that and when is it OK?

    You could call me sweetie if you wanted, I probably wouldn't respond though.
    But in serious I see it a bit too, seems kind of weird to me but eh it's the internet.

    I do it all the time and tons of friends do it to me but then I'm one very cute puppy so it's all good :)

    I call everyone 'Hon', don't really think anything of it. It doesn't bother me when people do it to me, unless it's contributing to an existing creep-factor

    Yes, I do. However, I'm usually the first one to address a friend with an endearment.

    yeah my wall is full of hey babes and hello handsome etc, the girls do it just as much as the men. although it is usually done once you get to know said person...
