Syroquel weight gain

I was on Syroquel for about 6 months and gained 65 pounds from it! I recently stopped taking it and I think it messed up my metabolism. I eat well and do strength and cardio exercises daily and am only losing .5 pounds a week. Has anyone else had this problem after taking syroquel?
