You should do your yoga after your cardio because it is a great stretching and relaxation to finish off.

I actually do my cardio before and after. I have been riding my bike to the Yoga Studio and I love it!

If a yoga session is done right, you should be too relaxed to even think about cardio. And when I do Vinyassa, my muscles are spent as much as if I'd been lifting - since of course I have just spent 90 minutes lifting myself in all sorts of crazy poses. So I say cardio before.

    This.

And as for lifting, I always do a warmup on the elliptical of at least 10 mins. Then after I might do another 20 mins. Sometimes though I just do 25 mins cardio before lifting then stretch and go home. Whatever you are most comfortable with.

Good reply. All of that is on point.
  • I've been wondering this myself! Glad I found the answers and it make sense to do the yoga after as a "cool down" for your muscles. I'm new to all of this and glad to see everyone's comments.
