Two Snacks, What Time??

So today I am planning on having a mid-day snack and a post-workout snack (I workout later at night). I want to have a quest bar with peanut butter and a protein smoothie with just quest protein and some fruit.

Now I know that when you eat your meals/snacks doesn't really make a difference and that protein supplements are simply just to help you get more protein in. And supposedly it's been debunked that you need to get in protein right after a workout. However, because quest is a mix of whey and casein, I didn't know if I should have it post workout or if it still doesn't matter. I've always heard that casein will work to fuel your muscles while you sleep.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I appreciate any help & advice. Thanks in advance!

I wouldnt eat carbs before I workout. Your body burns carbs first then burns fat reserves. If I ate something it would be certain veggies, sardines or anything low carb.

Doesn't matter. Do whatever is convenient and works for you.
