I am on day 2 of C25K right now I am doing it on a treadmill, I have not run in over 30 years and just quit smoking a few months ago so I am not in the greatest cardio shape. Right now I am doing the walk part a 3 and the run at 5. My question is are these good paces? what paces do you all recommend?
Thanks in advance

Yeah I walk only 2.5mph. Do what you're comfy with just starting out or you will push yourself too hard.0

Your pace will be personal to you. If you find that you cannot complete a running interval at a 5mph pace, you might be best served to run a little slower - or even a lot slower. If you find you can already complete a 5k at a 5mph pace, you should speed it up a little.0

Any pace you can do is good. C25k is not meant to have a target pace. It is whatever you can do to finish the time allotted. Even if you can walk faster.
It will be different for everyone.0 -
