thank you to all who gave me ideas a few weeks ago. My broken foot, wrist and various torn ligaments are slowly healing. I can hobble around on crutches now and today I went back to the gym to use the recumbent bike and start working on core exercises to strengthen my now very, very weak left side. Amazingly I have lost 4lbs instead of gaining. I've been really disciplined but was only hoping for maintenance. The Fitbit and careful monitoring continue to be highly effective even with only two working limbs!! I am so happy that I did not give up. There is no option of giving up. Just gotta keep moving forward.. Crawl forward if necessary. No excuses.

    I don't think I helped, but congrats! That's determination!

Hope you have a very quick recovery. :)

I'm glad that you are on the road to recovery. The body burns an incredible amount of calories as it tries to heal itself from injury, so that may explain the weight loss.
