Any tips on how to lose weight within a month?

I am looking to lose 5llbs in a month and gain muscle. I use kickboxing as a form of excersise

    To gain muscle and lose weight in a month is a bit.. Impossible. Muscle is denser than fat [1lb of muscle is still the same as 1lb of fat, they are just different volume]. Also, muscle takes a while to build. What are your stats? If you set your MFP settings to lose 2lbs/week, and stick to the calories it gives you [and I mean, weigh EVERYTHING], you may be able to do it. No promises, water weight and other variables still apply, but... Yep. I'm assuming that says 5lbs, too, since it has two L's.

    if you've never lifted heavy weights then you could get some significant strength gains quite quickly by following a progressive weight programme 3 times a week .. like strong lifts 5x 5

    the weight loss is calorie control

    muscle gain would be a long old process
