Just out of curiosity, what would a 24-pack of Budweiser cost in the UK?

And how on earth is it perceived there?

I just found out we're exporting it and I can't get over that.

It's also made in the UK at Mortlake (I used to work there). It costs about 12-13 pounds for a 24 pack (300 ml) at the supermarket.

    Maybe around $14 or so.

I can't speak for everyone, but I perceive it as disgusting watered down swill.

A crate of 20 300ml bottles is £10 or (on offer) 2 x 12 440mls for £20 - according to a quick search on the Tesco website. So not particularly expensive. I don't drink regularly but it wouldn't be my first choice of beer. I don't think it's held in particularly high esteem but it's not a laughing stock either.

Amazing. It's around 21 pounds for a 24 pack of 355 ml in Florida and I can't believe we are exporting this swill.

Then again, I've heard that Stella Artois is called "wife beater" over there but it's a classy import here . . .

We can get a crate of 20 bottles for the equivalent of $15....or a bottle for $5 in a bar...it's pretty popular over here. I drink it, but only if the shop has run out of Corona.
