Cheese question

I've recently taken to putting my cheese slices in my toasted sandwich maker and grilling them before putting them on my food.

I've noticed that by doing this a hell of a lot of oil comes out of it so I was wondering if that would lessen the calories any or if I should just still count it as a regular cheese slice with all the cals?

Bit left field in know. Lol

I usually don't worry about it and let it just add to my buffer. There's a 20% margin of error on the calories listed on nutrition labels anyway, so I figure anything small like that that slightly decreases intake just helps offset any unintentional overages.

Now if I fry something (which is pretty rare) and there's a lot of oil left in the pan I'll measure what's left and deduct it. But I don't do it unless it's going to be a significant difference.

Don't get too clever with your calorie counting. If you really cant cope with your goal, set it higher.

I take it as a bonus. There is a margin of inaccuracy in calorie counting in any event, so this just helps stack the deck in your favour.

Does it reduce the number of calories? Yes. Do I worry about it? No.
