Here we are on this website, because we eat too much, and move too infrequently. Never mind that there are people who go days without food in third world countries that work their hands to the bone, and walk miles and miles to get water. There are people in our own neighbourhoods and communities who cannot afford to eat, who cannot afford a fitness dvd or video game console.
I don't know about you, but it makes me feel a little bit ashamed, and a little bit selfish. That's just one girl's opinion....

Your are right--it is a sad state of affairs.
Last night, I heard that we are shipping our eating practices over to the third world countries! They are starting to have heart and blood pressure problems! We are trying to help them and ourselves (our fast food companies) and the recipients are suffering more!
The Third World governments need to actually support the people in their countries, instead of keeping all good meds and foods for government employees and not passing them on to their indigent populations.
    OK, I'm done now.

in some countries... ppl die from hunger and poverty and malnutrition!
in the US... the leading cause of death is heart disease (basically eating ur way there) or lung cancer (buying millions of cartons to get there).

wish we could give half of our food to africa or something... we would live longer.... and so would they!

I've gone for months without food...clearly that wasn't the long-term solution for weight loss, now was it? Now here I am on this website.

But yes, I see your point. We are blessed.
