I had to stop working out for about 4 months. I hurt myself at work and am still dealing with the pains. I let my eating habits go down the drain and have gained body fat back. What kind of diet should I be on if I really can't exercise. I walk that's about it.

You don't have to exercise to lose weight. The diet you should try is CICO, eat less than you burn. Walking is fine exercise, I'm sure there's people here who have lose weight by CICO & walking.0

Walking is a great exercise for weightloss. Just put your stats into the MFP app and it'll give you a suggested starting point (make sure you eat at least 1800 calories per day, though, and weigh your foods accurately with a digital scale.)0

You don't have to exercise to lose weight. All you have to do is eat less than you burn. How you want to accomplish that is up to you.0
