Does your daily calorie burn need to be adjusted?

According to MFP, my calorie goal to lose one pound a week is 1650 per day. I selected sedentary activity level, so my non-excersie burn is 2150 calories a day. Does that number need to be adjusted as I lose weight? Does the total daily calorie burn number go up or down as your weight decreases? If yes, then how often should it be adjusted?

You can adjust it yourself whenever your weight changes, or let MFP do it for you.0
