Does your FitBit suck too?

My fitbit keeps giving me ridiculous calories burned numbers (too high) anyone else having the same issue.

How high are your calorie burns and what is your typical day like?

I didn't trust my initial burns from my Charge HR. I now wear it on my non-dominant hand but have it set to dominant, and set my activity level to lightly active rather than sedentary.

What do you mean by "ridiculous?" How high? Mine tends to overestimate a bit but i don't eat back all my exercise calories.

I lost the weight & have maintained for a year by trusting my Fitbit.

    Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments.

You can learn more in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

I have a fitbit charge and it's one of the best thing's I've purchased. It has helped me to motivate and exercise more each day. Is helping with my weight loss. Also the sleep tracker is great because I have severe insomnia and I can show my Dr's a weekly report ect!! It just takes time to learn how to use it properly.

I think my burns are very accurate. Do you have one with the heart rate monitor?
