Hi,
I've been on this journey my whole life. My current journey is a 60 lb one. Could sure use a network of people in the know around me to help see it through. Thanks!

Hi @Joracr . It's taken me a long time to figure out what works for me. I would yo yo up and down. Counting calories (weighing food and making sure that I eat less than I burn) is by far the best approach for me after several different fad diets which don't fit into normal life on the whole. Recently I have found that making sure I get enough protein helps with hunger (I was always ravenous on my normal high carb/low fat/low protein diet) but I don't deny myself the 'treat' foods as long as it fits in my calorie allowance. My diary is open if you want to see what I eat. Also, I find my activity tracker (fitbit one) the best investment I've made for fitness. It lets me know exactly how many calories I have burned and takes the guess work out. Feel free to send a friend request. You can do this!
