i have been following 1400 cals per dayon mfp for the last 6 months, gradually lost 20lbs and am now 147lb. wanting to lose another 16lb ideally but now I'm preganant.

wanting to try and at least not gain a deal throughout pregnancy so im still losing weight but obviously want to do this sensibly still.

am i ok on 1400cals still or would i be better upping it slightly?

Extra calories are only suggested in the 3rd trimester as I understand it.

Agreed but if you are going to eat less than maintenance, I'd strongly recommend that you speak with your primary care giver. I understand that in some cases it's OK under supervision but you need to make sure that you are getting all the macro and micro nutrients you require.

ETA I notice that your weight is not extremely high (you don't give your height so can't be sure) but if you are not obese, it would be best to stick at maintenance and go for further weightloss after pregnancy. I know in the UK it would not be recommended to restrict calories in this case.
