My generic response to sore knees (or knee) is RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation).
The usual culprits are overuse (too much, too soon, too fast) and /or weak hips , glutes and/or core or IT band issues (usually related to overuse)
Have you had a big increase in volume recently? Changed running surfaces? Changed shoes?
It could be a million things, rest up and see how quickly you recover.0
