My Future as a Gym Rat.....

Hey all. I'm a 30 year old female from Alberta. I've never been in a gym before last week. Joined snapfitness in Lacombe AB and I love it! I have never been happier than when I am dying on the treadmill or the chest press. Hell, I didn't even know what a chest press was! I also love the leg press. Found out I can push 220lbs with my legs so I think that's pretty good for myself.
I'm looking for other people who take no excuses and give no excuses and just want to kill it everyday like me!

220lbs is pretty impressive for just starting out. If I may suggest, you should look into a lifting program involving free weights to target more muscle groups at one time. Many on this site would suggest StrongLifts 5x5, New Rules of Weight Lifting, Strong Curves and a few others. It's worth looking into if you are interested in lifting. Good luck!0

I live in a very small town and can only get to the gym when my husband is off work to drive me. We are at a 24/7 gym right now but there is not always someone there and I cant join a program because I will miss so many days. I am working on getting a drivers lic, but then I need a car too so it may be a while. I do 30 mins cardio, then 30 mins chest press/leg press, hips, and dumbells. I would love to get into a program someday though.0
