a serious saggy boob situation over here!
any magic uplifting workouts you ladies know of?
i started my weight loss journey on a quite unhealthy way of eating very low and not exercising much hence the girls have shrunk instantly. since then ive educated myself nutrition wise and am exercising (mainly weight lifting) wearing a sports bra etc.
here id like to add 1) i still eat in a big deficit due to lose body fat % so no preach on that please 2) periods when i consume more for a longer time i instantly gain everywhere else but the boob area 3) i would not mind having *small* boobs but saggy, empty sacks hanging on your boney chest is not attractive or what i want.
exercise is a poor mans plastic surgery - im obviously unable to afford (nor would willing) to go under the knife.
also: thoughts on wearing a bra indoors (im a stay-at-home mum)? would it help to improve the tissue on the chest or would it loosen it furthermore? plus would you rather wear a sports bra over a regular bra when youre *just* out walking? (daily 1-2hours, from-to the playground, very brisk pace)
help?

well...I'm forced to wear a bra anytime I'm doing any type of physical activity, for obvious reasons, but from what I've read/learned is that if they're gonna sag...they're gonna sag. You could lift weights to work on your chest but that would be working on your muscles not your skin/underlying tissues. Wearing a bra or not wearing a bra won't make any physical difference. Have you tried skin tightening creams or cocoa butter??0

wonder creams are not something i believe in, but i might have to look into them. thanks0

You could get pregnant and breastfeed. The milk will fill out your boobies quite nicely. :ohwell:
Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do about it :frown:0 -
Honestly I don't think it really matters - at least not with regard to your breasts - whether you're eating nutritionally sound foods or not. If you're functioning at a calorie deficit and losing weight, if you tend to lose/gain weight in your chest, that's going to happen no matter what you eat. You can do exercises to work/lift the pectoral muscle underneath your breasts, but if the breast tissue itself is deflated and sagging, toning the pectoral muscle will only minimally improve that look. If the sagging is your main concern, I certainly would wear a sports bra for any physical activity, and wear supportive bras in general, as that *may* help to prevent further sagging.
The unfortunate truth is that pregnancy and nursing does a number on the breasts for some women. I personally didn't have sagging; I did completely deflate and basically was left with deflated, empty sacks on a narrow (not necessarily boney) chest. You can either adapt to the idea of the new normal, or you can go see a plastic surgeon (I chose the latter).0 -
haha funnily enough we are trying for the second little one. maybe when/if it happens i make more effort of looking after the girls while they are in the process of shrinking, but to be perfectly honest they looked alright post-pregnancy.
its definitely the crash dieting that done them in.
thanks for the input ladies. just searched for similar topics and it seems to be a common weight-loss problem so ho-hum, im not anymore feeling so lonely.0
