Exercise "Weeks"?

I wanted to have some structure in my workouts, so I started "Strong Curves" program for weight training. It is built on "weeks" so you do certain workouts for Week 1-4, 5-8, etc. Supposed to do it 3 times per week.
With my work schedule being crazy, I have not been able to get to 3 times per week. I might go Sunday, Wednesday, then not until the next Sunday.
Should I not move past a week's workout until I have done it 3 times in one week or just move on after the 3rd time? I'm trying to get a better schedule down but it's so dang hard!

I would stick with each week until I got in the appropriate number of workouts. SC has workouts A, B, and C so think of it as doing four of each and then moving to Weeks' 5-8 workouts A, B, C.

If I couldn't get ABC done in one week and only A & B...then I would start the following week with C...and so on and so forth. So it'll take you longer than 4 weeks to move on, but you'll be hitting all of the workouts. And like Jemhh said, think of it as doing four of each workout before moving on rather than strictly weeks.
