Are your maintenance calories different from your TDEE?

Now, I exercise every day of the week at the moment and my job is mostly sedentary. I would think that this would put me in the "moderately active" TDEE category which for me is 2500 cals a week. But I still seem to be losing weight [albeit it very slightly] at 2500.
I have now upped my cals to 2800 which seems an awful lot for maintenance but we will see.
Does anyone else find their TDEE on paper differs from actual maintenance cals? TDEE is only a guide after all.

10% difference is neither here nor there if you look back to the derivation of the TDEE equations.0

Yes, that's what I'm starting to think. 300 cals a day extra only offers half a pounds difference per week really.0
