Misfit Shine users, do you find the calorie counts accurate?

I'm just wondering. I just got my Shine, and it seems to be giving me a lot of calories back on MFP.

I have a misfit flash, and I noticed that as well. When I wake up in the morning, it tells me I've burned 260 calories, which mfp says is from "exercise" though I have next to no points on the misfit app. I have a feeling that the calculations of calories burned or a basic calorie burn before exercise is different between mfp and misfit. I don't really know though, it's kind of confusing for me.
