So I have always wondered what my activity level should be.
Currently I have mine as active I would at a subway so I am constantly on my feet an walking around the store like waitressing and I walk everywhere I go since I don't have a car. So is it possible I should have it set to very active. I have always wondered this even when I made my first account.

Increase your activity level, give it a couple of weeks, then reevaluate your progress.

Underestimate and re-evaluate after a month or so. If you are on your feet for eight hours I would set it as lightly active.

Lightly active sounds right to me. But see how it goes and adjust if you need to! :)

^ this. But if you're still losing while it's set at active, I wouldn't change anything.

    What they said.

Unless, of course, you're using a step counter linked to MFP, in which case you'd be counting your activity twice, and would need to change to sedentary.

With an activity tracker (like Fitbit) connected to your account, choosing an activity level is entirely a matter of personal preference if (and only if) you enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings.

Without a tracker, choosing an activity level takes trial & error. Increase it, wait two weeks, then reevaluate your progress.
