Suggestions for no jumps, no arms exercises?

Hi!

I broke my arm last week. Before that, I was at the gym 3 or 4 times a week; and biking to work at least 2 days a week. I now have to put a stop to all that for a few weeks.

I can walk for a bit (no arm swinging), but not crazy fast because it hurts.

To help me, I've joined back here and will start logging everything again. I'll need major cutting on food...

Ideas for exercises that wouldn't affect my arm too much? I'm thinking of walking and squats. Other suggestions?

Thank you!

How long is your cast on for?

Honestly, just heal up. You can do very light stuff like air squats and leg lifts, but you may want to avoid getting sweaty with a cast on... el stinko ya know?

Also maybe just work on some flexibility skills to stay limber while you heal up.

I got nothing. Cut your portions back, relax and heal up

Elliptical is a great workout - do you have access to one? Use the kind that has no moving arms.

Yeh... give yourself a break. Your body is under stress right now, trying to repair a major injury.
